Zaman Associates, based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, is engaged in the import, manufacturing, marketing, and distribution of low and medium-voltage electrical equipment, solar systems, control panels, and accessories. All business transactions are conducted in accordance with Bangladeshi trade and commercial law.

Orders & Quotations

• • All product inquiries must be placed through official channels: website, email, sales reps, or showroom.
  • Quotations remain valid for 15 days from the issue date, unless otherwise stated.
  • Orders are confirmed only after written acceptance via email or purchase order.
  • Zaman Associates reserves the right to accept or reject any order.

Pricing & Payment

• • Prices are subject to change based on market conditions, foreign exchange rates, and supplier pricing.
  • All prices are exclusive of VAT, import duties, and delivery charges, unless otherwise stated.
  • Accepted payment methods: Bank Transfer, Cash, Cheque.
  • Standard payment terms:
    • Corporate Clients: 50% advance, 50% upon delivery
    • Retail Clients: 100% advance or cash-on-delivery (COD, where applicable)
  • Delayed payments beyond due date may incur a 2% monthly penalty.

Delivery & Logistics

• • Delivery timeline is typically 2–7 business days within Bangladesh, based on stock and distance.
  • Delays due to customs clearance, supplier shipment, or strikes are not the company’s responsibility.
  • Risk passes to the customer upon delivery.

Warranty & Returns

• • Products are warranted for 1–2 years based on the manufacturer (e.g., ANDELI, SY Capacitor).
  • Warranty covers manufacturing defects only.
  • No warranty on:
    • Burned or shorted items due to improper installation
    • Products used beyond rated capacity
    • Accidental or intentional damage
  • Returns accepted within 7 days of delivery, unused, in original packaging, with valid reasons.
  • Return shipping charges are borne by the buyer unless product is defective.

Installation & Technical Services

• • Zaman Associates provides on-site commissioning, panel setup, and system integration upon request.
  • Clients must ensure:
    • Accessibility to the installation site
    • Safety and electrical readiness
  • Service charges are quoted separately.

Licenses & Compliance

• • Zaman Associates holds required business licenses, VAT/TIN, and EGP eligibility to serve corporate and government clients.
  • All products supplied comply with relevant BSTI, BUET, or international standards.

Confidentiality

All customer records, technical drawings, and project information shared with Zaman Associates are treated as confidential and not shared without prior consent, except when required by law.

Limitation of Liability

Zaman Associates shall not be held liable for:

• • Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
  • Downtime or project delays caused by third-party equipment
  • Force majeure events (natural disaster, political unrest, etc.)

Modifications

Zaman Associates reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our official website or communicated through sales representatives.

Governing Law

All disputes or claims will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Jurisdiction lies with the courts in Dhaka.
